I don't see why, Humans used to walk around having sex with anybody they saw. Then they discovered clothes, then weaponry, then electricity , then technology, which all led to beliefs ( religion ),,, and to some of those religions its for some reason a "sin".....

Sex is not a sin if done between a man and his wife. God intended sex to be pleasurable to a married couple and also as a way to populate the Earth. Unfortunately, sin has tainted so much of the world.

Only if you are a Christian or of a faith that condemns it before marriage or eternally.
BUT in real life, NO Sex in not a sin. It can be used as a Sin but the act itself is not, it is pro creation. How we decide to share and use it can determine whether we are doing something Morale or not. Sin is relative, morality is more important and what kids have to learn better.
Sex is great with the right partner for the right reason.

Sex is the very meaning of life.
Each and everyone of us came here though a sexual act. Even in the case where the scientists did stuff like go up the vagina and extract eggs & sperm ... ah, sex is still how we got here. IDK about cloning, they may be deemed as getting here outta sex.
Anyways, is it a sin??? Well, we're given "Free Will" to use stuff God gave us for good or for bad. So, you have to look at how sex is being used: is it helping or hurting ppl & God's creation, does it come with strings attached, does it higher everyones esteem, or does it lower the ppl's esteem??? Anyways, it all boils down to if we're using our power's (sexual) for good or for bad.
Just because u'r married doesn't give a free pass to stop asking the question, is sex helping or hurting. When this is ignored ... well, bad things (sin) can happen. Sex needs to be free, total, committed, and open to life.

i suppose it depends what religion you are - different religons, different sins
i'm jewish and i know that it in judaism it is under no circumstances a sin. Jews believe that since man and women were originally one being and each was only created when G-d removed a rib from Adam and created Eve (because before this Adam had no gender) people strive to be one again and need each other. Therefore the ultimate coming together of man and women, physically and emotionally ie sex, is desired and is not a sin.
However outside of marriage it is prohibited, but then again so it even holding hands with someone of the opposite sex so its all relative

No its not a sin its just fanatics out there telling you it is cause they are mental and dont want you to enjoy it.
Dont go about sleeping with every one but if you are in a loving relationship and trust and respect the person you are with it will never be a sin.

Nope. that's just another way to exert control over the believers and keep women down. Remember, in many pagan religions, female fertility was the most important thing. Now, having sex and then bearing children becomes a duty imposed on women, not a thing to be celebrated. The control issue is that if you manage to convince people that one of the only forms of recreation available is something they need to feel guilty about, and to seek atonement for, then they'll keep coming to confess and ask for forgiveness.

sex is not sinfull if all concerned are up for it, however it is a very big sin if done without the other partys concent, and anyone doing it with a child should burn in hell. people who tell you it is sinfull are controlling your life and you should always follow your gut feeling about what is wrong and right, if no one ever had sex the human race would die out, do you think that's what god wanted?

What saith the Scriptures?
Genesis 2:18-25
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Genesis 1:26-28
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
'nuff said...
Grace and Peace!
