1. Sometimes winning a war is precluded by political and not military concerns; also you forgot the first Gulf War.
2. Again as much for political backing and to have some one else with us as much as from a pure military need.
3. Yes they are. The Isrealis have one disadvantage; a very big Achilles heel-They cannot take large numbers of casualties. Many of the advances they have were developed in joint efforts with the U.S. and some of them were incorporated into U.S. weapons and others weren't-either not worth the additional costs or felt they weren't necessary. Being technically advanced did not save the Germans from being defeated in World War Two and they were the most technically advanced military at that time.
The facts are the U.S. is using a very small percent of the population in the military including reserves; if the need arose then they could resume the draft and field a much larger army and it has the manufacturing ability to support it. The Isrealis are maxed out as far as population in active and reserve forces go and would lose a war against the U.S., Russia, China or most European countries based on the following: terrain/size of country (no place to fall back and regroup and can't trade ground for time), could not sustain losses and manpower shortage would show up quickly. The U.S. is strongest based on a combination of items-available manpower, industry, technical and the only short coming has been in the political will area.

Yes Americe is by far the most potent military force on the planet. It could probably beat all the other forces combined. USA spend more money for military purposes than the rest of the world put together.
1.America hasent won one war since WW2.
Yes it has. Gulf war comes to mind. Cold war too. But the truth is America is not challenged very often.
2.America relies alot on other countries.
Not so much currently!
Actually the fact they have so many allies even when fighting a moronic war against someone who didn't attack them is a proof of their power
(on debate)
1.Israel IS the most technologicaly advanced country in the world.
What are you smoking? Unless you're Dutch, it's illegal!!
Japan is the most technologicaly advanced country in the world. USA is a close second. Korea, France, Germany are more advanced than Israel at the very least.
Plus most of Tsahal's advanced weaponry is american.
Where did you get that idea?

Strongest how? Politically? Militarily? Economically? The US has many strengths and many weaknesses, and calling it the "strongest" without any qualifiers is very vague and non-specific.
As for your points:
1.America hasent won one war since WW2.
----The US has entered and successfully completed conflicts in Korea, Panama, Grenada, the Balkans (against the remnants of Socialist Yugoslavia), the Persian Gulf (against Ba'athist Iraq) as well as police actions / humanitarian interventions in Waziristan, Somalia, and Lebanon.
2.America relies alot on other countries.
(on debate)
----Every country relies on a lot of countries. This is the 21st century, the era of globalization. That's not a sign of weakness, since the countries that DON'T rely on others (or pretend not to, ie North Korea) are usually impoverished and feeble.
1.Israel IS the most technologicaly advanced country in the world.
----I doubt that. Israel has made commendable accomplishments in the field of science and has contributed a great number of scientists and researchers but it is not the most technologically-advanced country in the entire world.

1. America hasn't officaly declared a war since I think Korea, which by the way still isn't offically over, but there is only a cease fire agreement signed.
2. America could easily become an isolated country, and many countries depend more on America than America depends on them.
3. I've never heard anything about Israel being the most technologicaly advanced country in the world, so I really have no clue. It would be a huge suprise to me.
EDIT: And about the stupid part. Your example of tips about 9/11 is horrible. Do you know how many threats/tips the government gets a day? More than you can imagine.

Israel is no where near the US on tech. Ever hear of MIT? What about Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, etc? Actually, it's ridiculous comparing Israel to USA. It is not even a logical argument.
America could be self sufficient if greedy corporations were not involved. Profits bring us to rely on foreign products.
We have not been in a true war since WWII. Everything since then have been police actions, meaning we were playing by some rules and trying not to offend. All out war, we would annihilate anyone. In 30 days or less. That's why only a fool would mess with the US.
EDIT: Israel is NOT a superpower. Not militarily. Not economically. Not technologically. Not in any shape or form. Israel could be defined as a "Developing" nation.

Yes, America is the strongest.
1- America has won several wars/police actions since WWII. The Gulf War, The Iraq War, The Afghanistan War, Kosovo, the Cold War, etc.
2- Every country relies on other countries. Those who go in alone generally don't do well. Nazi Germany did well, but the gang beat them up. North Korea was getting its behind handed to them before China stepped in. Iraq got toasted. Twice.
The only country that has 'gone it alone' is Israel. They have lots of background support from other countries, but they do good war.
3- Israeli technology is American technology, minus about ten years. Their jets could not take on an F-22; just as much as our mock combat battles between F-15s and F-22s have shown. To civilian knowledge, they do not possess stealth capability.
The United States is the most powerful country in the world, due mainly to technological advancement, and the training of its troops. China is strong due to its numbers. Israel has fantastic training and equipment, but their numbers and economic ability to transfer funds to a large scale military action is based on how much the US gives it.

The world says so! What makes Isreal more technologically advanced then the US - what do they have that we haven't given them. And without our money, where would they be?
We are not only strong because of our military - the only country that has kicked out the government in 2 countries at the same time (after WW2) - don't forget we won the first Persian Gulf War - and that was after WW2 - but we are also the Richest country.

1. "Best" is relative. Hardly anyone has really won a war since WWII. Israel has, it is true, but they did not exactly have strong competition, and were primarily fighting on home turf, AND they relied on American and European technology and support.
2. EVERYONE relies on other countries to fight wars. You will not find a single exception to this rule throughout all of history... with the exception of some of the losers.
3. Israel's technology is primarily American technology. Your statement regarding them is simply not true. I suspect that is why you didn't back it up with any facts or evidence.

A detailed correction:America did not win WWII;The allies won the war...
Israel is not the most technologically advanced country in the world, probably France is...
In global operations the assistance(due to distance) from local or nearby powers is imperative especially when the obstacle is the sea.

My fear is an economic fear. Our dollar is dwindling. We are emerging into globalization too fast with poor policies at the expense of this generation and the next. Too many people are losing their livelyhoods and have nothing to fall back on.
When I was a kid we all heard that saying about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. That meant the middle class had two directions to go into with careful planning. Those who did not plan well are screwed by thinking pensions and a 401K can carry them through to death. Well the fork in the road for these people was 5 years ago. Our children are heading into a new kind of America. They will be dependent on a system instead of themselves. The sad part is when they accept it as the norm.
