Saute them with 1/2 butter and 1/2 olive oil. Add some crushed red pepper, oregano and garlic. Serve them on the side of the steak.

There are many ways to cook mushrooms. You can fry them, saute them with either garlic butter, stir fry sauce, or just oil (which is nasty). I hate mushrooms, so I don't usually use mushrooms when I cook.

To saute mushrooms, drizzle olive oil in heated skillet, add mushrooms, salt and pepper and stir them around several times to get the mushrooms coated evenly. I also add red wine to add a little flavor. Saute until tender, and then top the steak with them. Now I am hungry!

just sautee them in a pan with a little bit of butter and a little bit of oil-- if you want to add more flavor, add a little bit of soy sauce at the end. depending on your stove and everything, it should take only a few minutes.
enjoy! :)
