Peanut butter does have protein; however, it is also high in fat, so I wouldn't suggest consuming large quantities to get your protein. There are protein powders out there that are high in protein and low in fat, sugar, and carbs. My favorite is Isoflex.

peanut butter is full of protein, but also very fatty,
hard boiled eggs are bomb! they taste so good and are full of protein, I always toss the yolks.
I think nuts have protein too (seriously), personally I hate having nuts in my mouth but if you go for that sort of thing you might want to look into it.
beans and milk are great too
(not refried and not whole)
and what do you have against meat, maybe you just haven't had real meat.

Peanut butter is great,it`s a complete protein,eat it by the tablespoon or on wheat,i also love it in my shake,yummy,eat beans,eggs ,shakes,fish,turkey, fruits and veggies

Yes, anything with nuts. Also beans, milk, cheese, and tofu.
