The cookie recipe calls for parchment paper. I am out and it is snowing. So I know not to use waxed paper. Do I just go with my air filled cookie sheets (non greased)? Line with aluminum foil? What do I do? Thanks!

how are you using the parchment paper?

In baking, you can try a lightly greased piece of aluminum foil. I like using aluminum foils over my cookie sheets since it's disposable. One less thing to wash.

I'd skip the wax paper. Wax paper tends to burn.

Depending on the cookie you could use waxed paper (for meringue type because they are baked at a lower temperature) For all others I would line the pan with foil and lightly grease the foil. You can then remove the cookies to the cooling rack on the foil and then remove from the foil. Best wishes.

Using parchment paper is a waste, go to a bath and beyond and use silicon sheets that last forever. They are both made of the same material but the silicion sheets used by iron chef america is the professional ones and can last forever. They both actually last forever but i like the professional ones.

foil will work, waxed paper will work, saran wrap will work, buttering the pan will work!!! also you could use copy paper on the greased pan just as well as parchment! I only used parchment in the Bakery under cinnamon rolls, elephant ears, danish rolls, etc because they all have cinnamon sugar rolled into them and it melts and runs out on the pan and makes Hellish mess to clean!!!!

Just lightly grease the sheets, the parchment is just so that it does not stick.
