You guys aren't even a real religion so why do you flock to a site that is plainly about Religion and Spirituality alone? If it was all about racking up points, wouldn't you just go to some other site? Infact, please go to another site. You guys don't believe in anything even related to religion or spirituality.

Because of generalizations like this. Nowhere else is information and knowledge about atheists needed more.

I spend more time here attempting to correct misconceptions about atheists than anything else.

For instance it's spelled 'atheist'.

I have to give you credit for this. Seriously. You might be amazed at how many theists disagree with you on this.

"If it was all about racking up points," For me it isn't. I wish YA would get rid of points stars and levels. They only encourage stupid questions and answers.

"Infact, please go to another site. You guys don't believe in anything even related to religion or spirituality."

I think you'll find that almost no one including theists are talking about theology. And we can have an opinion about it and wouldn't a differing opinion be valuable? And it's an open forum.

Your basic premise fails. Atheists may not have a religion, but there are also religions that do NOT worship a supernatural deity, so they are atheist and religious. And many atheists are spiritual even though they may not practice any religion at all. You will find questions and answers on here from many spiritual paths, some of which are believers in traditional religions with supernatural "gods" and some that do not require a supernatural "god" for their spiritual journey. It is through the diversity of paths that we learn more about our own path (hopefully) as well as gain greater understanding of others. Remember that only 31% of the worlds population believes in the Abrahamic gods, 69% of the worlds peoples do NOT believe in them. Blessings on your Journey!

Athiests do this because they love to toment people who believe in the Truth. These people are so utterly deceived by the knowledge that mankind thinks that it has, while they themselves are craving knowledge of the Truth. Moreover, they are fulfilling the common prophesies of the Bible by persucuting and laughing at Believers. Do you know that from the 2500 prophesies in the Bible, around 2000 of them have already come true.... EXACTLY how it said that they would? I digress, for I am getting off the topic. They love to torment Christians because unknowingly they are doing Satan's work. You don't see Buddhism, Islam, or any other "false doctrine" coming under attack do you? It is ALWAYS the believers in Christ. This will continuously happen, we will be persecuted worse and worse, until the End occurs. Eventually, these Athiests, who believe in a theory of creation so ridiculous and unbelievable, will be tormented and punished eternally for their sins. Hopefully, more and more will come to know God and accept Jesus as their savior for their sins. Satan's grip on athiests are very strong.

Oh yes, I will be leaving now because you told me to. Any minute now...

Oh, am I still here? Hmmm...well you do know that atheism is filed under the religion and spirituality section at this website, at your local library and every book store you walk into. If you notice when you ask a question about atheists or atheism here on yahoo they automatically put it in R&S. If you have a problem with it complain to them. I'm sure you already know your whining will fall on deaf ears.

I am a spiritual person but am against organized religion and I feel I have every right to voice my opinion on that. If I have a question about peoples views on religions, including atheists views, this is exactly where I would ask it.. where else do you suggest i do that?

Some people can only make themselves feel good if they have somebody to bash and try to make feel bad because they're jealous of something you have and hate themselves for not having something similar. So they take it out on you. Not all atheists are hateful, though. Just the ones who are spiritually challenged. You also have to differentiate between atheist and secular humanist or materialst or consumer. The last three are more prone to hatefulness.

I see you've been answering questions in the "Cats" section? You aren't a cat, so why would you flock to a site that is plainly about cats?

What was your question again?
