Those zero-calorie drinks with sucralose and other sweeteners taste weird to me. They also feel weird going down my throat. It makes me feel like coughing. Does anyone else experience this?

Yes! I know what you mean. If you have sensitive tastebuds, like myself and it seems like you as well, then the "fake" sweetners will just never taste natural.

My advice is to not drink them, just go for natural drinks like teas and add a little bit of cane sugar.

Coffee has no cals, and it doesn't need much sugar.

And Vitamin Water, is the BEST, doesnt taste weird at all.

So hope that helps my friend!

Well the only thing taking all the calorie's out of a drink does is takes the taste out of it and makes it "better" for your body but if you're drinking drinks such as diet cokes the aspartame in it is not healthy at all it can cause blindness and alot of other problems

No coughing, or weird tastes, but I can tell the difference via taste. I usually take the sugar-free.

Formaldehyde? If it produced formaldehyde in any significant quantity, it could be deadly. And the main cancers threat isn't any greater desirable than that from ingesting pork. The sugar in fruit juices could be greater in all probability to bring about habit issues and hyperactivitiy than crystal mild. Frankly, I prefer to furnish my youngster crystal mild to juice. All fruit juices have a load of trouble-free sugars in them, even those with out greater desirable subtle sugar further. lots of strict pediatricians propose in user-friendly terms water or milk at this age, no fruit juices of any style, because of the quantity of sugar and energy present in them. i assumed the flavored waters and crystal mild exchange right into a clever compromise.

I don't like artificial sweetners, so yes, they do.

The best and most thirst quenching calorie free drink for me is plain old water.

The artificial sweeteners are very bad for you and you may actually be allergic to them. They are toxic to animals. They should be labeled "not for human consumption"
