I am so stuck. I cannot find his parents. They died when he was just a child and he was raised by an aunt and uncle. I don't even know the aunt and uncles name

He was born 24th November 1880. Was also known as Bud or O.L.

I found his World War I draft registration card.

He lists his name as Otha Lealon Dunn.....date of birth 24 Nov 1880. Residence (Gotebo, Washita, Oklahoma. Occupation, farmer. Next of kin: Wife Bessie Dunn. Eyes Blue, hair light, tall, heavy build.

Next on the 1920 Washita County, Oklahoma Census in the town of Oakdale.

Wife Bessie
Daughters Cora (16), Mary (15), Tina [on 1910 listed as Christine] (14), Lillie (11), Violet (8), Pansy (3)
Son Charles (5)

Otha born in Kentucky, he didn't know where his parents were born so listed United States for both. [On 1910 Census lists their birthplace as Kentucky].
Bessie was born in Indiana as were her parents. Her middle initial is J, and they were married about 1903.

Daughter Cora was born in Texas, all the rest of the children born in Kentucky.

The Census for 1890 was burned so the most helpful resource is absent. He was born just too late for the 1880 Census. He is listed on 1910 and 1920 Census as Other Dunn.

Not much help in finding his parents, but that will take records I do not have access to---

Since you may have the death date as evidenced by the previous answerer, I would order the death certificate. By 1957, most jurisdictions had the parents names listed on the death certificate if they were known. If you know the name of the undertaker that handled the services, you could try to order the funeral records as well.
