I need a good quote. Im woodburning a plaque for my brother in law who is a pilot and the army. I know for sure there's a lot of quotes that pilots like to use. I'm just a little ignorant when it comes to it. I know I can pull out a quote from Top Gun but thats so predictable. Help me out please, its a X-mas present. Got any good ideas for me?

I spent 27 months on an Army Airfield. My CO was a pilot. The XO was a pilot. The whole BN was Aviation Maint. (AVIM). Never heard them use anything unless it was when we were not close.
The 35Ks would add dummy toggle switches in the overhead on Huey's., tag them "do not operate". The joke was during preflight they would see it, not know it's purpose and toggle it to see what came on. That was all around our name for them, "Peter Pilot". Helo pilots back then did not use nickames.
How about his name followed by LZ. "Petes LZ" or RZ for recreation zone. If you get along good with him maybe "Wrongway".
