You should have finalized your case and made sure it was closed before moving. Why would you move 3000 miles away with an open, ongoing case? Until everything was settled, you should have stayed put. You can't move onto something else until old business is taken care of first!
The courts do not care where you live. That is your problem, not theirs.
If I warrant is being issued, obviously you did something wrong, as well. Where you not supposed to move 3000 miles away? My guess is until whatever got you in court to begin with was not full adjudicated and you probably where not supposed to move away.
Either way, the only way to solve this is to get to the court. They are not going to do anything by phone. The only other way is to get a lawyer back in that jurisdiction and have them appear for you.

Ignoring a court date is ignoring the law. The court does not allow lack of funds as a reason not to show up. If you can move 3000 miles away, you should have the ability to get back. And now they will make sure you do, one way or the other. You are waiting until NOW to figure out what you will do about missing a court date? Have you thought about thinking of the future, as in, "gee, if I do this, that will happen", or "if I don't do that, this will happen"? You should have had that conversation with yourself before you committed the crime that got you in trouble in the first place. The court does not say, "oh poor guy, he was broke, too bad. Let's be nice to him so maybe he will do what he knows he is supposed to do". And by the way, had you any idea to speak with your attorney BEFORE the court date? Really, it just sounds like you need to grow up and understand that EVERYTHING you do has a consequence.

Contact the court clerk and advise the clerk of your situation. If you have met all the other conditions of the court your appearance might be handled over the phone. But call the clerk now rather than wait for a warrant to be issued.

Talk to the people who can do something about it, not YA.
In other words - the court that wants to put out a bench warrant on you.

Contact the court. Check with an attorney who will be able to represent you in the court on that day. See what the court procedures are for someone in the position you are in. Then what they tell you to do. Make sure you do it.

shouldn't be an issue unless you move back to that place someday. Who gives a crap if a county 3000 miles away has a warrant out for your arrest?
