This is to people who have had alcohol delivered to them online. Did they ID you when you had to sign? if not what did they do? what company was it? thanks

Yes, they did. No reputable source will ship you alcohol without some form of age verification. The fines and the lose of their ability to ship are too great.

You can get around this by ordering a Mr. Beer kit. Since the content aren't fermented it is not illegal for an under aged person to purchase.

I had to sign for wine I had shipped by Fed Ex. They would not deliver to another address, I had to be there in person, or pick it up from Fed Ex. However, I don't think you personally need to sign for it, but anyone who is 21 or older. I had wine delivered once to my office and my shipping/receiving person who is over 21 signed for it. That was by fed ex too if i recall.

Considering alone the fact that you asked this question, tells me your under age. To answer your question yes, they ID you and will not deliver if your under the legal drinking age!
