I know it's a recipe that is supposed to be served chilled but how do you think it would taste warm or room temperature? Here's the recipe:

* 2 cups frozen corn kernels, thawed
* 1/3 cup chopped purple onion
* 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
* 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
* 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
* 1 to 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

Hmm, sounds kinda weird cuz it don't have any tomato in it. Looks like a good recipe though, I gotta try it.

Salsa served warmed up is always tastier than the cold stuff. The guy who said spoilage might be a factor is right but only if it's going to be setting out all day. For it to just be warmed and served with a meal it's a terrific idea, no different from any other vegetable on the table.

Make the stuff, warm a bit of it in the microwave and see which tastes better. Betcha the warm stuff does.

Happy Holidays

HERE IS MY RECIPE!!!

Avocado black bean dip
5 avocados diced
1/2 cup lime juice
put avocados in lime juice immediatley after dicing to keep them from turning brown
1 red onion diced
1 can black beans drained
1 can corn drained

I've made corn salsa a few times almost exactly the same as your recipe, but mine had black beans and some olive oil in it as well. I think it is even more flavorful when it's at room temperature, especially if you add some olive oil (making it more like a salad), since olive oil tends to thicken in the fridge.

I think it would taste fine at room temperature. I would avoid warming it though, since it would start to cook the nice fresh veggies you're putting into it.

I wouldn't recomend it. Spoilage would be a factor. If you want to serve it hot cut it with cheese wiz or velveta
