Why don't people tell the truth about racism????

Lat's acknowledge racism is wrong & evil.Racism has alwasys been around.I study the world, read books about all different countries,travel, watch BBC news ect,ect.All races can be racist.Right now,in Malayasia ethnic Indians are protesting racism from ethnic Malays & Chinese Malays.Public Demonstrations are being held in the streets.Organizations like the Black panthers exist.Peple like dvid Duke,Jesse Jackson,Al shrpton,Louis Farrakhan are out there.In Fiji racism is directed toward ethnic East Indian Immigrants from the native Fijins.In Trinidad & Tobago (and Guyana)Ethnic tensions racism exsist bewtween Afro trinidadians & East indians Trinidadians.Then there's people like Kramer &the Black lady on the tyra banks show who is teaching her daughter to "Hate white people".What about the racism going on in Hawaii & the native hawaiins who hate non hawaiins (espeacilly whites)(only some are like that) why don't people tell the truth?anyrace can be racist.I've experienced racism.

I never tried to hide it. I have always felt it was wrong. No one has a need or right to put down another person. I wish I could wish it away.

When people make generalizations they make them based on what they THINK is the great part the others are getting off easy with. If that makes sense. They no more know about "white" people or anything else except for
the fact they want to believe their cross to bear in life is harder than the rest have it. When you are different the best you can hope for is to be able to identify with them. A man is NEVER going to know what it means to be a woman.... and visa-versa. Guys think women have it easy and women think men have it easy. Blacks think whites do and asians think someone else does and fat people think skinny people do and rich think poor do .....on down the line. Identify....don't crucify. No one has an identical experience and to inflict that on others is childish immature thinking.

It's like having a child that was bitten suddenly thinking it's ok to bite and saying....it doesn't hurt me when I'm on this end so it must be ok. I can bite but you can't.

Truth be told it's got it's hard parts and problems on both just like anyone else. Trade and they'd rather be what they are. No one gets a free ride.

Another truth is the abuser becomes the abuser unless they stop the cycle. Seems not many want it to stop.....they want it to continue. Especially when that reason becomes the
excuse. Ignorance is.....stupidity isn't. Not knowing is....refusing to know is. Not knowing and doing is different than knowing and doing it anyway.

Seriously....this is the mentality of children.

People, in general, confuse the meaning of the loose term "racism." It is not about color!

It is complex and most people are not able to grasp what the conflict is really about. It is a conflict between two cultures with deep-seated beliefs. Each group must maintain its identity or die. They are in a struggle for keeping their separate identities alive.

Skin is a silly way of simplifying the conflict. People with strong European cultural roots are foolish to take the bait. And that is what the word "racist" really is, a bait or a lure.

Sadly but not surprisingly, you left this part out: The crimes -- the Trayvon Martin case and the Forster/Rostami case -- are vastly different in almost every way and should, therefore, be treated with vastly different coverage. They're different in terms of outcome, they're different in terms of details and each have very different historical and contemporaneous contexts.

If you are a racist I say you are human. Our survival instincts tell us to be wary of unfamiliar and different things. These are the same instincts that have held civilizations together for tens of thousands of years. Is it right? I don't know, but it has kept us alive for this long. The other part is, if you only listen to the survival instinct part of your brain you will miss out on wonderful friendships with people who are different than you. I acknowledge racism, it is everywhere. It is why I am called a cracker or a gringo. And you know what, I could care less.

I am racist to an extent, but I hate all races equally, even my own.

What I am really racist about is just plain stupid and ignorant people, like the majority of the peope on YA.

In all of my travels around the world and this country, i find that the most racist people are blacks and hispanics. They hate white people and feel that white people owe them something. I think they should just get over it.

So are you trying to defend white people?? If you are, you're an idiot. Just because other races are racist, does not mean that white people are justified or any less responsible for thier actions.
