See your doctor, since this has been going on over a year. When you sit, you cause vessels in the leg to constrict, so pick the leg up off the chair frequently, like a leg exercise you can do quietly if in a meeting. Try standing up more frequently. Be honest with people tell your having a problem sitting and you need to stand and walk frequently, especially in a work environment. People understand. This could be nothing but tight muscles or prelude to blood clots. Find out.

Probably a little exercises is needed. You could see an orthopedic surgeon and have a arthroscope and they'll look into the kneecap and, see what's going on. This is actually the best way, it shows all the little nicks and bruises you have in there. Then if you want, the surgeon can repair anything out of order but, it doesn't sound that bad.

In this day we seem to think everything in our body should work perfectly and, it just doesn't work that way.
