I am planning to have a December wedding in 2008. I love the color green, so i was thinking of a Clover color, being that it is a little darker than the Celedon and can look more festive.
I was reading about some ideas and they said that silver and light blue are nice for a winter wedding.
I like that idea, but i really really love the green. Is this going to look rediculous in the middle of winter??
Bridesmaid dresses will be green as well as a sash on my dress.
Thank you for your help!

Green is pretty and unique. Go with it!! I like the idea of green and silver together as well...green and champagne also look nice together. Don't listen to all of those bridal magazines that talk about what you *have* to have. Gasp...a pastel for winter or a dark color for spring. The world won't end and your wedding will still be amazingly beautiful!

I love the idea for green. Its different and not so overused like ice blue and silver. You could always just take out the blue and do the green and silver or really get people in the christmas spirit and add little touches of red with it like your flowers and some red candles at the reception. I think that would look really nice and stylish. Just my opinion but good luck on your wedding! :0)

Hi. I love the green idea too! Nothing saying you can't have green...as a matter of fact, it not a color that is chosen much. It will look very pretty for a December wedding.

I think the green would be nice, the color sounds pretty. Just because a lot of people use silver and light blue doesn't mean you have to. I think the green would look nice with a muted gold or silver and still be wintery.

lol.. why in the world would green look ridiculous in the middle of winter when it is a christmas color?!?!?! you can do green and silver or green and gold.. BUT my suggestion is that you book the hall before you get your heart set on any colors.. my cousin is having a "christmas in july" wedding.. she planned on all red and silver.. but the hall she fell in love with is decorated with red, orange, and gold.. it will look ridiculous with silver decor.. so she had to change her colors to red and gold!

I love that idea, a dark green would be very pretty.
Red roses for the bouquets would look so festive and pretty and with a splash of silver, it will look very classy.

I think green will look very nice. You don't have to have blue and silver just because it's winter time!

Go with the green. There is only one wedding (thats at least what I think) and you want it to be the best, so if you want green go with the green. It is a nice color, and congrats!
