Stopping the overpopulating of the planet would be a good thing to start working on.
(BTW, I only recommend 'eliminating' religions in the sense of stop believing in them. I also only recommend that every reproductively viable female have 1 child or less).

a very properly concept out question. the three religions that have consistently been preoccupied with conflict are of direction Jewish, Muslim and Christianity. As you comprehend all of them sprang from an historical Hebrew tribe of uncivilized barbarians wandering via the desolate tract continuously waring with the different tribe they happened to return throughout the time of. The god of the previous testomony replaced into easily a god of conflict. as a consequence, we've been conditioned at present to settle for conflict as being commonplace rather of reprehensible. Governments at present use religions as a conditioning gadget to application the minds of young ones in education for militia service. this is why religions take excitement in a tax-unfastened status. are you able to in basic terms think of drawing near a team of ethical humanists and asserting that we are organizing slightly a conflict, can i pastime any of you in signing up !

don't worry about eliminating religion. Better worry about education. Education would fix a number of problems. Uneducated atheists won't be better than uneducated religious people.

First, we need to get over our instinctual emotion of fear, which requires a fundamental shift in human nature.
Then, we need to reorder our priorities, starting first with establishing respect towards each and every individual human being.
After that, we need to work as a community to better the individual, as well as society as a whole, using love of the individual and society as our motivation, not fear.

I don't typically even care if they get rid of religion. Just stop putting it into the government. Keep it off the walls of public buildings, keep it off the money, keep it off federal and state funded education systems. Don't write laws that say I have fewer rights because I don't believe.

Oh good God we do not need to eliminate religion, it teaches people how to love God.
We need to eliminate the bigots, thats all. Bigots also exist in atheism.
