I would go with home premium. If you look on microsoft's website you will see that business does not have that many features to it. But home premium has about 3 to 4 times that. I have premium and it just workds better than my friend's business. Also it looks a little bit better to.

It depends on what features you need. I personally needed features from both of them, so I got Ultimate. Business has Remote Desktop features and I think it has "Previous Versions" which allows you to undelete files (if you have the free hard drive space for it), but Premium has some additional multimedia features.
Check out the MS Comparison table and decide which would suit your needs better.

I agree with Tofu stick with XP. Vista chews up resources and a lot of programmes will not run with it. Download the check from Microsoft if you are going to upgrade and check to see how much of your current software will operate with it. It is interesting that here in NZ they are now offering new computers with XP again becuase of public demand.

Neither, use XP
We have lots of Vista licence and none of us in the office would use them after trying, this says a lot about how bad it is.
