It is about 80 today in Austin, TX. It was 40 yesterday and the weather man says it will be 40 again tomorrow. It is frequently like that in Texas.

Agree with the first guy. It is a cycle. Notice how this 'global warming' non sense has translated into more power to the governments(thereby taking more from the citizens) and also all this money that different entities are levying against people the world over in the name of enviroment and 'global warming'?

We've had freezing rain the past two days. Today it's above freezing, but still in the 30s and still raining. All the trees in my yard are broken and/or uprooted form the weight of the ice. I've had no power at my house for 3 days now.

Colder than normal here with moisture factor included.
You can monitor this web site to see the larger than normal amounts of moisture in this northern hemisphere :
http://www.weather.unisys.com/satellite/sat_ir_enh_east.html
12 hour loop:
http://www.weather.unisys.com/satellite/sat_ir_enh_east_loop-12.html
I've been watching this web site for years - this is the first time I have seen this much moisture in the atmosphere stay for as long as it has. If this continues we might expect a very cool winter.
