So I was reading the Bible this morning than i got to thinking i know in the Bible somewhere it said that jesus' followers were tested and i mean has anyone ever thought about back then it was not like the technology we have today.... And back then he cured the blind, cured the lepers...To tell people im here and im alive and real..... And today in a modern world with dna and going to space.... do you think this is a modern day testing of the beleivers of God to leave just enough evidence to question him like the big bang theory, evolution, i mean because then the disciples of Jesus were tested so why not test his worshipers today.. so all in all to understand it.... Does anyone beleive that evolution and the big bang theory is just to test to see if you will continue to believe in God or be thrown away from religion because of science?
Im not expecting any atheist to answer either because the questionis directed directly to Christians.

While I accept other's belief in a big bang and evolution, I adhere to God's Word. The first 5 words in the Bible answer that for me ... "In the beginning God created ..." That's enough for me.
And while I know that science has it's place in today's world, there are lots of things science hasn't been able to answer. For instance, science can't cure a virus. HIV/AIDS is a virus. Cancer is a virus, etc., right down to the common cold.
I'm just glad that I have Christ in my life!
God bless!

I believe that some theories are put out there to try to explain how we got here using natural processes. Some scientist try to explain things without God b/c they either don't believe in God or they are not convinced God exists. I'm a Christian and I don't have a problem with the Big Bang theory as far as it being the starting point. However, I do have a problem with evolution based on two things. The bible and science. The second law of thermodynamics is the Achilles heel to the Evolutionist. It destroys any hope for Macro-Evolution. Now I am open to believe in the Big Bang as long as Evolution is left out. The Big Bang follows the laws of causality and points to an eternal self-sufficient eternal cause of the universe.
Does anyone believe that evolution and the big bang theory is just to test to see if you will continue to believe in God or be thrown away from religion because of science? No, I think its a way for those who don't believe in God to stroke their conciouses.

Actualy, I never thought of it like that, but it really is a test. I think i've done well because I just simply say it doesn't matter (I know who I am and where I'm from, thats all I need to know as far as that goes). I choose to not have an opinion about how the earth came to be, but the big bang theory is a HYPOTHESIS, the word "theory" is a very strong word for it! I think its very possible though and the hypothesis coudn't possibly deny God even if people say it does. Evolution is a very possible theory, but it doesn't matter to me either. I'm right here right now, I know who I am, I know who God is, and no matter HOW he created everything, I know he DID. Theory or no theory. Science is a tool Created by God for God and is something very beautiful. He built everything from tiny particles called matter, that is truly amazing, that is how much detail is put into everything. He created the laws of gravity, survival, tides, hearing, etc and etc. I could talk about this forever, i'll just stop now, peace. lol

God has always tested his followers, from Adam and Eve down to the present day.

personally, I believe that faith and science can balance each other and work together.
Who is to say that the Big Bang and evolution weren't God's way of creating the world?

If your god is all powerful I see no reason that he shouldn't have created this world using evolution.

It's harder for me to believe we evolved from apes..........than to believe that God loves us and created us. Maybe that's just me............
