Seriously , there was a Christian group who said Sponge Bob was teaching our kids to be gay. Another Christian said Star Trek was giving out Anti- Christian messages. The list goes on and on. My 3 year old watches Sponge Bob and she's not gay. Get over yourself , Christian!

If this is the worst thing these people have to face as Christians, then they are living very privileged lives indeed.
Christians in other parts of the world have to face daily death and persecution and hardship for their faith, and these people are worrying about a children's cartoon. The word "absurd" doesn't even cover it.

I'm a Christian, but that's not the reason I hate Sponge Bob. I hate Sponge Bob because he's annoying, trite, repetitive, and nothing like the cartoons we had when I was growing up (which was just 10-12 years ago).
Star Trek is/was awesome.
I think the reason they go after these shows is that they don't understand anything about entertainment. Oftentimes, the best entertainment comes from seeing/hearing things that are completely different from "normal" life.
And FYI, I had male roommates all through college...I LIVED WITH FOUR DIFFERENT GUYS!!! And I'm not gay...Sponge Bob isn't gay, he's just single...somewhat permanently...

Some "critisize fats".
Some play with the "Check Spelling" button.
Some view the whole "Sponge Bob" and "Star Trek" stuff as silly.

As far as "Star Trek" goes, I always liked the story about how the studio execs told Gene Roddenberry that he had to put a chaplain on board the Enterprise, to which he simply responded, "No, I don't..."

Why do some people lump a whole group of people into the the small minority?
You are talking about a very very select few "special" Christians who do things like that. The majority don't.

i do not think sbob teaches kids to be gay but i also think you may be lying since you keep criticizing christians and i hope and pray that ur 3 y/o finds her own way and realizes God is real since you dont.
