Ah the perfect wedding, I think everyone has there own idea for the perfect wedding. I hope my wedding coming up in April is my "perfect" wedding. It will be because I am marrying the man on my dreams and my friends and family will be there to celebrate with us. But if I had to plan the ultimate wedding, there would be no budget, I would be able to go all out with the reception by renting a mansion with a garden, having a gourmet dinner, extravagant decorations, ice sculptures, lavish favors for each of my guests, tons of unique and exotic flowers, flying all my family and friends to the destination wedding, and renting a high class singer/band for the reception. As far as the honeymoon, I am going to Jamaica so that should be perfect.

My wedding was the perfect wedding!!! I got married last April barefoot on Carolina Beach, NC. I had about 50 guests, so it was kind of small and only family and friends were invited. It was a beautiful day with the sun out...not too hot, not too cold. And it cost less than $5000 total. The cost of the rental for the beach house for me, my new husband and the bridal party for a week is even included in this. We had beautiful flowers, plenty to eat that the rehearsal dinner, gifts for every one, favors for everyone (with favors left over), invitations, EVERYTHING you could think of. My bridesmaids and I are fashion designers so I chose a fabric in the color (sky blue) and they designed and made their own dresses. I designed and made the flowergirl dresses for my daughters from a previous marriage, and I made the bowties for the ring barers and flower girl baskets...Sure all the dresses were different, but the dresses matched the bridesmaids individual personalities. A bakery in Wilmington made the cake...and it was BEAUTIFUL and included chocolate seashells. We had a live band and Everyone had a good time. Sure a couple of things went wrong, like the champaign was not chilled enough, the napkins we ordered were forgotten in the beach house until we found them the next morning...the programs were forgotten until the reception, but then we handed them out, but that was not important to any of us or our guests...what was important to me was that I married the most wonderful man I have ever met and all of our guests had a GREAT time.
We waited until September to take our Honeymoon...but it was perfect too. We took a cruise to the Bahamas and then went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando...what could be more perfect than that?

I was fortunate to have my perfect wedding and honeymoon. But I think the "perfect" wedding and honeymoon is different for everyone. My wedding was perfect because everything went smoothly, no big problems, both our families were extremely excited and supportive of us getting married, I knew I was marrying my soul mate, there was zero doubt or nerves the entire day, we had a great time, and it was everything I ever wanted. The honeymoon was perfect because we were waited on hand and foot and just got to have alot of peace and quiet together. It was an adults only resort so there weren't alot of screaming kids running around peeing in the pool. :) Not that I hate kids or anything but it was certainly nice to just have an ADULT, romantic honeymoon.

well I don't know about perfect wedding, but the wedding Id like to have would be fall..Like Octoberish-Novemberish where the leaves are turning those beautiful colors and it just feels nice. And Id love to have a candlelit wedding. You know the kind at night. And I'd have it lit mainly by candles (The safest percautions of course.Seen too many brides catching fire on Americas most funniest videos lol)And maybe put outdoor under the stars.
Honey Moon...I really don't know.I always liked the tropical kind of HoneyMoon.I know that sounds strange.Fall wedding/ tropical paradise honeymoon.Don't ask.I think people are over thinking your question by perfect and making it a bigger deal.Anyhow.Im not married, but thats what Id want if I'm fortunate enough to get married and get what I wanted.

my idea of a perfect wedding and honeymoon is this "don't sweat the small stuff and remember that everything is the small stuff" the only things that matter is working on the marriage because every marriage has highs and lows and you have to be there to support and love your spouse cause when the lows come you are not going to say "well we had such a perfect wedding and honeymoon" yes it is a special occasion and you both need to make it special for the two of you. but like i said no one is going to be talking about the wedding and honeymoon when then lows hit you just have to work through them

The perfect wedding? Where people are considerate of others and nobody gets their feelings hurt.
The perfect honeymoon? Where you both enjoy the time and aren't uptight about things being perfect.

My wedding and honeymoon were perfect. Instead of spending $30k on a party for everyone else, we spent much less on a 14 day trip to Hawaii. We were married on the beach in Maui, and spent our honeymoon hopping islands, visited Pearl Harbor (a must see), toured a volcano by helicopter, and spent a few days in bed and in our private cabana just enjoying each other. It was absolutely sensational!

I don't think there is a such thing as perfect wedding or honeymoon. To me it is as long as my mate and I are together we don't care who is at our wedding as long as we become one that is all that matters.Once we are standing up there professing our love in front of whomever, 9 times out of 10 we will only see each other while we are standing there with each other. We will acknowledge our guests but we will only see each other standing at that alter and tune everyone out. *Ahhh being in love*. It feels so good to be in love. As far as the honeymoon goes the same thing, as long as we are together we can watch tv for all I care as long as we are together alone on our honeymoon that is all that matters is us two. Just my opinion.

This is an unfair question.
There is no generic "perfect" wedding nor is there a generic "perfect" honeymoon.
And the "best" answer will, of course, be the one whose ideas of what a great wedding/honeymoon most closely coincides with yours.
