For not getting on board the environmental deal when the USA won't do it?

People don't realise than unless the USA is on board too, Canadians agreeing to do this will be suicide for us, and the USA profits every which way they can.

That's not fair, and I don't blame our PM for saying "THIS SUCKS" and "NO WAY".

Canada is not the one digging in their heels and we should not have to take the flack for the party that is.

Still I am convinced Canada will do everything they can and won't sit Idle, but I think EVERYONE should be on board so that we can finally move in the right direction on this. Agreed or not?

The point is it would cost us a fortune and we would lose companies that would move to the States to operate (and create more dirty factories, etc.) and wow, as always that is great for the USA and would put us back in their mercy as the little country that could have been. Well surprise to all, we are the country that could, and I am glad they said no if that will eventually motivate everyone to partake in this.

Frankly the "less developed" countries has a WHOLE TON OF MONEY really and should think about it as starting off on the RIGHT foot and not making the same mistakes as the WEST.

I don't think so Mt. Z, I think everyone's agreed to certain limits by a certain date. Mind you whether anyone sticks to it, another story, but if they don't well the world is in for worst worries than weather...starvation, no water, and toxic air...those are the greatest worries particularly because people will be forced to live around cities or risk living on soil which is dry and barren...because that is what really will be in store in future...just wait and see.

First of all i think Canada and most of its citizens are too smart to be suckered in by the likes of ''Al Gore" and his Hollywood cronies.Global warming is a natural cycle with the earths temperatures. Was there freezing weather all over the planet when dinosaurs were alive?Scorching temperatures?nobody really can say for certain.Global warming is lining Al Gores pockets with your $$$,he`s laughing.

Don't worry you all will be vindicated very soon, but you will wish the prophesies of global warming would have been true, because the real truth about the near future of climate does not involve mild winters.

Well, you'd better assemble an army if you want "EVERYONE on board".

China won't budge. Russia won't budge. Hopefully, the USA won't budge. Australia was going to budge, but found out what it would cost and remains budgeless.

Canada could succumb to the environmentalists, or, equivalently, they could shoot themselves in the foot.
