Most likely people and myself would say your GF is way TOO young!! What about school? How is she planning to be in school, while having a child?? Ask yourself these questions!!!

I would definitely not recommend her having a baby at 16. She might be responsible but she should be enjoying her youth without having to worry about all that responsibility at such a young age.
I wish you people would do a little bit of research instead of acting like you know what you're talking about. The age of consent in most of the US states is 16 so unless they live in one of the few states that has an older age of consent this would not be statutory rape.

First of all it's illegal to sleep with a minor.
It doesn't matter if she consents to it or not.
She is not of legal age to make such a responsible decision under the law.
You would face a prison sentence, parole, and be forever marked as a petofile (sex offender)
I'm not being rude but it is the simple truth of the consequences. If you guys love each other that much you should wait until she is atleast 18 and you are both legal adults that are able to make a mutual decision.

Hell No. At 16 I seriously thought I was gonna be a rock star. 16 is not old enough to decide to 'start a life' with someone, she doesn't even know herself yet. This is a huge decision. Tell her to give it a year, then you'll talk again. Do it again until she's 18, cuz if her parents don't like you its statutory rape for you!

Amazing, all of these answers and not one utter or word of "marriage" no wonder they say the United States is without morals.
And she say's "she will be responsible" yeah, sure, with the help of welfare. What is a 16 year old without education going to do to support her and a child,? sell dope, go into prostitution? No, just rely on others to take care of her and the kid.

There is no way a 16 year old girl is mature enough to have a child and since you had to ask there is no way you are mature enough to be a father.

dnt do anything u dnt want to do...tell her that..if she doesnt agree with u, then move on...and if she does, then have a baby when u to mature enough to take full responsibility
