I'm not sure this is what you had in mind but it is a lot harder to find information on the internet than I thought it would be. Even when I know a site exists, they don't come up on the search engines if they aren't a major site.

I spend a lot of time in the "drawing & illustration," and, "photography" sections of Yahoo Answers.

Judging by the many, many questions, EVERY day, asking the same thing, I would suggest that most people have the, common, misconception that computers are able to take any blurred, low resolution photograph and make it crystal clear, like they do on movies and television show.

It just isn't so. No software in the world can go back in time and space and record details that didn't get captured in the first place. So many people seem to believe that the camera HAS the information to make a clear picture, but, somehow, just doesn't show it and needs computer "enhancement" to make it come out right.

If if contains the clear detail, why not, just, show it?

Another issue is that some people expect that the computer will make an untalented artist, somehow, brilliant. They don't realize that the computer, and it's software applications are, merely, tools, like brushes, paints, easels, cameras and such. To be a good digital artist, one must, first, be a good artist.

On my first machine I expected it to run correctly without crashing. This was when the very first pc systems were available and I was running Windows 2 or dos 5. It actually did run very well. I sort of expected the same from every model and Windows version since, and have been very disappointed.
