The three qualities that i wish for in a spouse are: Loving, espeially me for who i am. respect: not only for me, but for themselves. It's hard to love somebody if you can't love yourself. The last quality is Family oriented. I really don't like people that are selfcentered. I like people that are focused on others and are genuinely concerned about something besides themselves, especially their family.

This was my list before I met my husband. Please note that I never asked for a good looking or smart guy, although thats what I ended up with!!
Could hold a good job (he's a mechanic)
Loves his family (he loves me and his daughter above any other, although I would never ask him to choose)
A nice guy (he's worth nothing if he can't treat people nicely)
At least willing to try sailing (he's a better sailor then me by much, and loves it, important since before I met him I almost lived on my boat)
Puts up with the dog. (Turns out she love him more then me!!)
