I agree. It's the Venus/Mars thing. When women communicate it's with emotion and trying to express emotion, whereas men communicate to exchange ideas, mainly. Men don't understand why women like expressing emotion over an idea that could take longer to a man than he thinks is reasonable, so men think that women are playing games and get suspicious and tired, especially when they don't have a lot of emotion to express. Men will get tired emotionally with women and women will think that men aren't interested in them enough or that they don't really care.

Sometimes it's a bit of both worlds. Women play games, but they have positive alterior motives, while many men are playing games to be stupid. Some guys play games after being hurt bad by a girl and flirt with many women, never wanting any of them, while a girl will play the game of "I don't care that you didn't call so I'll call some guy to make you jealous," or she will ignore the guy until she feels like he's gotten the point rather than telling him like it is. Guys will also play a lot of mind games like building up hope that things will work out after a break up, just to keep you holding on, or whatever.

Men and women (for the most part) see things so differently.
You can't say who plays the most games. It is totally different in every situation. Some men play games, some women play games...I think it's a toss up there.
Look at every person as an individual, and see who they really are. That is the only answer.

Actually, although some guys are "players", guys don't tend to play games much at all. They are pretty up front about what they want or don't want from a chick...
Many gals, on the other hand, are notorious for playing hard to get, using sex as a weapon, trying to make a guy jealous, etc. I hate to say it, but my own sex is much worse (in general) about game playing and drama than guys are...although some guys are guilty of those things as well.
As for misunderstandings, yes those occur too. Women and men too often expect each other to think like they do, instead of realizing the opposite sex is wired differently and won't tend to see the same situation in the same way.

It sure feels like it sometimes! I'm not sure if men purposely play games or if that's just the way they're wired though. I detest the non-communication-I'm-an-island-I-don't-need-a-woman-I-am-strong-invincible-man attitude that most guys go through at some point or other. I think women are more willing to discuss their feelings and men, well, just aren't. I do believe that both sexes use games to test their power and the other person's loyalty though so we're equal in that regard; we just differ in the types of games we play and how often.

For a man it's just like that
A woman has usually a very good reason
if you slept with 10 women you re a big man
If a woman slept with 10 men she is a slut
Dumb 'n Dummer

the only games men play, are sports. we dont have the patience or interest for any other kind.
like everything else, this is all in your head. a result of over analyzing every single minute detail when the only thing that needs to be focused on is the big picture.

I think women accidentally play more games than men, but men play some as revenge.

It's probably pretty even as far as that goes as I've seen a lot of game playing by both genders. I have never been what you would call a gameplayer and consider myself a straight shooter and honest. My sweetheart is the only one I love and I would never hurt her or play games with her feelings ever.
