What are your talents and what do you plan to use them for (or did)?

Question

Please tell me your talents and what you wish to use them for or what you did use them for or whatever. What things you hope you are good at etc.

I can:

- Sing - To become a singer.
- Play piano - To become a musician.
- Run real fast - Hmm... not sure maybe to raise money.
- Really good speller - Help me songwrite
- Write stories etc - Write stories lol music etc.

I need to find out if I can:

- Dance - Help to do performances on stage. (I don't think I'm good at it)
- Act - I think I'm quite good at it. Not that best at it but I am trying to take part in shows to find out so I can be an actress.

That's all i can think of right now but I might add more if I can think of more but please don't say you're talentless because EVERYONE has at least one gift. :) Just maybe you haven't noticed your yet. :)

I can:
- Play piano well - want to become a performer + teacher
- Sing (am taking lessons now) - preferably performer as well, but teaching is just as good
- Play violin, viola and harp - but as of now I can't think of what I want to use them for...maybe just forming informal ensembles with my friends/family as a form of entertainment, or playing for charity events
- Spell really well too - helps me turn in spelling-perfect homework haha
- Good at languages - helps in homework as well, and in communication
- Love passionately (and by that I mean give my life and time for them before considering my own needs) - helps me form a strong family in the future :)

I hope I'm good at:
- Leading others - I don't have a 'leadership' personality and sometimes that gets in the way
- Piano-playing techniques (the non-musical part, meaning raw technique) - I'm pretty good at it but not good enough for competitions
- Not being so shy - I'm already not as shy as when I was younger, but my shyness still gets in the way during social situations AND sometimes affects my singing lessons too (once I hear myself do something correctly and it sounds different and better, I can't continue doing it without shying away from the sound I made first. It's like I don't trust myself enough to carry the good sound through, and it's getting a little frustrating for my teacher and myself...lol)

Excellent question! I happen to be a musician on the autistic spectrum; my strengths are more toward the arranging and performing side than the composing (I have a rock suite on the Christmas story in alpha and the lyrics are still a puzzle--I'm trying to tell this story from the perspective of Yashar-El and his heirs, right down to a timeline giving dates in Years of the World, much as would be the case on the current Jewish calendar).

For me, singing and playing any of eight instruments to date (currently five) come quite naturally. Likewise acting to a limited extent--I LOVE doing reenactments of historical addresses. I've a lot of work to do on composing and scriptwriting procedures; one suite or act can take months, if not years. In terms of dance, I haven't the flexibility for traditional storytelling dance, jazz dance, ballet, &c.; given my problems with socializing, I've gone rusty on ballroom (although it would play a role for a romantic situation comedy that's only in the concept phase at present).

One of the more cerebral pursuits for me is arranging and orchestrating songs and tunes--I tend to think of the big picture in terms of its parts; ideally, each instrument contributes to a seamless whole.

I have talents in what people refer to at 'The Arts', namely:

Writing - To become an author. Actually writing a novel presently.
Poetry - To use in said novel, or just to write to express myself. Might release a book of poetry sometime.
Drawing/Painting - Do I need a reason? I just really enjoy it. Don't know if I'll get anywhere with it though.
Music - I've got a few talents with woodwinds, though probably same as above.

Not too detailed, but really, all I've really marked down as a possibility is writing. =D

I teach and play classical guitar....all I ever wanted to do was teach....I'm not the kind of person who wants to perform in front of an audience....I'm too shy for that.. I'm one of those personality's that doesn't like attention of any kind.....I do enjoy teaching, and that's all I ever wanted to do !!!!!!!!!
