yes she is a fake. If you have ever taken the time to skim through her books you can see that she is full of it, as she has no knowledge of anything she talks about -- as if shes making up her own rules about well documented practices and mythology and folklore, that she just seems to ignore and just ramble on her own way.

And yes, she has been proven wrong many many times, one of which when she told a family lookig for their kidnapped son that he was dead -- a few months later they found him alive and he was returned home safely. This incident was broadcasted all over the news and discussed on CNN and everything -- and that type situation has happened many times over

she is just a con artists takin advantage of people's vulnerability and desperation

~~~ Sylvia Browne is a [bad word]. Look up the word "Fake" in a dictionary and you'll find her picture there. Look up all the bad words you know,and you'll find her picture there too. If she was a ghost and came knocking on my door,I would take a baseball bat to her fat head. Unfortunately it would probably be a fake ghost too,so I would be making a fool of myself; like she does on Montel's show. ~~~
Worse..she is using Montel and her "gifts" to promote her religion Gnosticism.
My mother is a fan and once we went to a live show of hers. The 2 hours was a revival (more or less) about her religion. She only spent 30 minutes on the crowd doing readings.
I left feeling like I had went to a tent revival but instead of a "healer" there was a psychic.
Yes, she is a fake. All those that claim psychic abilities are lying or are mislead themselves. If any person can prove that they really have ANY abilities, there is a $1,000,000 prize waiting for them. No one can do it. The famous "psychics" (John Edwards, Sylvia Browne, etc.) all claim that they don't need the money so they won't prove it (Sylvia Browne actually agreed to prove it while on Larry King Live, but has never actually shown any proof). But if they really had powers, why would they not just prove it, take the money and give it to charity.
Yes, she is.
Remember the Sago Mine disaster? About 12 people died. But first of all there was a false report that they had survived. And Browne said on live TV that she already knew that because of her psychic powers. Then, of course, the news came through that only *one* had survived. So much for her "powers"!
OOOOH YES....
She is a fake. A deceiver.
In the Bible, it reads;
Isaiah 44:25
who foils the signs of false prophets and makes fools of diviners, who overthrows the learning of the wise and turns it into nonsense,
Jeremiah 14:14
Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.
Jeremiah 23:16
This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
Jeremiah 23:33
[ False Oracles and False Prophets ] "When these people, or a prophet or a priest, ask you, 'What is the oracle of the LORD ?' say to them, 'What oracle? I will forsake you, declares the LORD.'
Lamentations 2:14
The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading.
Ezekiel 13:9
My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.
Micah 2:6
[ False Prophets ] "Do not prophesy," their prophets say. "Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us."
Matthew 7:15
[ A Tree and Its Fruit ] "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Matthew 24:11
and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.
2 Peter 2:1
[ False Teachers and Their Destruction ] But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
and finally,
1 John 4:1
[ Test the Spirits ] Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
-God Bless.
like all of them, she has no psychic powers. the only doubt isn't any remember if or not she is fooling herself as nicely as different persons. As somebody commented, she, like various different so-talked approximately as psychics use a technique talked approximately as "chilly reading" which in certainty teaches its practitioners to maintain throwing out concepts till somebody grabs carry of one after which they (the sucker) fill in each and every of the info for her. difficulty is, the technique often leaves the practitioner extreme and dry if the questioner does not provide sufficient the "psychic" sufficient training to base their guesses on. And wasn't she the single that suggested the miners have been alive and that they have got been all lifeless yet one?
