This biblical phrase is found in Colossians 1:27. Paul rejoiced in being the servant of the church - Christ's 'body'. He spoke of 'the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.'

He said the same in Ephesians 3:2-13:'This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.' This promise is of being glorified through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit - of receiving a glorified, resurrected body, to be with Christ in glory. Both Jews (the 'little flock' Jesus spoke of) and Gentiles (Jesus' 'other sheep, not of this flock') were brought together as one flock, under one shepherd, Christ.

Christ becomes one with you. When you decide to live for him and only him, do as he would do, turn from sin, etc. Of course we still stumble and fall short as we are still human, but we work at it ever minute of every day. Our journey with Christ is a life long journey, it only gets better and better and we get closer and closer to him. We are never lonely and so so loved!
Christ uses your body to love and show by example what Christ is like. Christians are one with Christ. Christians=Little Christs.

It means that you have successfully attuned to the message of the Gospel and discovered that the 'end' of Christianity is to 'show Christ, until He come.' This is best achieved by allowing His indwelling spirit to motivate you to love, compassion and service or by allowing the Christ figure to act out in contemporary society through you.
This is the traditional Christian route but it aligns very well to other traditions of finding God. The followers who have arrived display the same manifestations. As Jesus said, 'By their fruits shall ye know them.'

It means Christ dwelling in you spiritually (if you're saved by Christ, knowing Him as your Lord and Savior). Christ only dwells in those that abide by His word - those that are born again in Him.

"In relationship." Now God is working on our inner man to move us from ignorant pagan to something that more resembles Christ until that time that Christ actually comes to collect those that are His. He isn't in you like water in a cup.

An anglicization of a Greek term that means "The Annointed." His life in me as Jesus means that I'm called to live a life of loving God and other people.
