a friend of mine has a severe cold. they have given her cipero & prednisone. she is complaining of a really bad stomach ache. what can she do to settle this down til she is done with the pills?

she needs to eat before taking the medication, so her stomach has something work on besides the medications.

The prednisone can do that sometimes. Cut back on the meds. Also, eat something light with it at all times.

Prednisone for cold???? Unless it is allergic - steroids don't help. STOP predinisone, take zantac and tums or any other antacid till 'your friend' consults her doctor again.
