I Have A Hump At The Base Of my NEck .... MY Parents Don't Have It ... BUt I Do ??? Why Is It ?? Is This Normal ?? I am overweight over 234 lbs and have a lot of FAT behind my Back ??? Is This The Cause ??? Will Running on the threadmill reduce the fat on my back ??? PLs help

Yes I think it does come from being over weight. Alot of overweight people that I know have it and I also had it before I lost the weight. It will go away once you lose weight.

the hump at the base of your neck is due in part to being overweight, and in part due to poor posture. Suggest you try being more conscious of your posture and correct it, otherwise, no matter how much weight you may lose, that hump will remain.

I believe your best bet would be to see a chiropractor. Posture is USUALLY in issue, mind you. May be that the problem has built over time, but still it is the same problem.

yea that is fat stored up in your neck... loose some weight ..its good for you.plus you will live longer =]

It sounds like a fat deposit. Ask your Dr. and get a sensible diet from him. You are ruining your health by being obese.
