Neither, it's God which is more important! Liberation or salvation is a desire and ego trip in a wrong direction!! Liberation leads to Bondage and Bondage lead to Liberation...

Liberation may sound more dignifying becos it consists of ego, self-effort but involves risks. Salvation/Surrender has the best results of liberation, through a resourceful or powerful agent, becos of faith,understanding,compassion.

Liberation happens when you are alive which leads to salvation[mukthi]when you die.
