I had received a mail that i am eligible for receiving 15 million dollars from some . i had given my credit card no and cvv no .so can that person steal money from my account just using credit card no n cvv no.if yes then what r the steps i can take to prvent that person from stealing from my account?

Did you give this info over a secure server? if you gave it to a person, then it's a possible scam. Contact your credit card company to see if anything was put through for this company and if any charges were made that weren't yours. Also call the credit reporting agencies. Experian is one of them.

Just contact your credit card department and stop the payment. It is a biggest scam. Just think once how you expect that much amount you will get without doing anything. They are cheaters how you give credit card info without discussing to anyone.

Report your credit card stolen. Do it right away. Yes they can steal your money.

report it to your credit card company they will red flag you account they may change card #s on you
