Hey. I'm an alchoholic.... I go to AA an afterwards I pick up some beer and drink it before I get home so my mom doesn't know.. Maybe I should go to rehab but I dont think I want to because that's for alchohlics. I will probably need to hit a serious bottom before I actually quite. I don't think bad grades in high school is enough for me.... Maybe attempting to kill myself or living on the steet for a few months will motivate me a little further... Until then I will just keep on hiding my bottles and going to school while telling everyone I'm sick and that's why my eyes are red and I'm always exhausted.....

Well, either you're here posing or you really want help.

If you're posing, this isn't funny.

If you really want help, look at the people around you your age.

They are moving on with their lives. You are not. If you keep drinking, it won't get any better, life only gets harder from here on out and this is just going to amplify that.

You have to opportunity. Why don't you try actually participating in the AA meetings? Have you ever told anyone in the meetings, "as soon as I leave I'm going to get some beer?"

People will help you. But you don't want to be helped. So make up your mind.

You need help, dear. Are you having suicidal thoughts? If you are going to meetings and then getting beer, what is the point of the meetings? You are still in high school and you need to deal with this problem now. It will not go away by itself. Please talk to your parents or a counselor about rehab. If you didn't think you needed help, you would not have wreitten this. Good luck

I would get in touch with a good doctor my friend.

The AA is not working for you. Rehab might be the next step.

Good luck mate.

Don't wait to hit bottom...you mat not be able to return from the bottom!
If AA isn't for you, there are other programs that may be more appealing.

you should tell your mother and friends they will support you and maybe a little upset but that inspect from mothers and family and if you don't tell somebody about it may to late to do anything cause you may end in the hospital and then school wouldn't matter to you you have to tell your family or you may die

u mentioned high school so u are not even old enough to drink...i am not saying don't drink but if u r do it in moderation and in a controlled environment...yeah, I'm sure you heard this before from ur mom or on t.v but that's reality...hopefully it doesn't take u making a drastic action to get help or just do it yourself....self control....
