Not an Atheist but feel the need to chime in.
Q1 Is the warming real or a measurement artifact caused by measuring mostly in cities?
Q2 If real is it linear or cyclical?
Q3 If cyclical, is it man-made or solar induced? (Mars is warming too)
Q4 Even if real is the prospect of bananas in Texas, citrus in Kansas, corn in Montana, and wheat in Manitoba really so horrible? Is expanding the growing season and arable land of the entire planet really an unmitigated evil?

I accept the scientific stance on Climate Change, aka Global Warming, yes. And Al Gore is the prophet of Man-Bear-Pig Worship. Other then that, he is just a fat, boring guy.

Yes and No. I believe that the world has gone through quite a few climate changes in it's history. I do not however, feel that humans are making that much of a difference...why? chiefly because there is quite a bit of political and economical motivation behind the notion, and not enough scientific evidence.
Edit: Al Gore is a moron

Global warming is occurring, there is nothing to believe. You can be shown evidence that it is real. Al Gore is a politician with a cause. It's a good cause, but I think it's futile. The US population is not willing to make the sacrifices needed, nor is much of the rest of the world.

yes, I believe global warming is happening. I am not sure if man is exacerbating the process, but I don't think it would hurt to cut down on our environmental impact a bit. I don't think Al Gore is a prophet, but I'm glad someone was able to make environmental issues a mainstream issue.

That is a very complex answer for this atheist. In general, yes. Am I sure that it is man made, no.
But Al Gore is an idiot as far as I'm concerned.

The planet is warming up. It could be natural, but I'm going to assume it's mankind's fault because, really, what's so bad about moving away from combustion energy to renewable, clean energy that won't result in oil dumping in the oceans and won't cause acid rain?
F*ck Al Gore. A hypocrite if I've ever seen one.

This atheist believes in global warming.
I don't think Al Gore is a prophet, though. He's a political figure with a cause.

Only inasmuch as global warming, AND cooling, has been occurring at regular intervals since the world began.
The real questions are: how much control over the Earth's climate could we have even if we WANTED to; and what precisely it the "correct" temperature of the planet, in the first place?
