There is no magic potion for gum disease. You will minimize the progression of gum disease by meticulous oral hygiene. If the gum problems are significant, we are past the do-it-yourself stage and you'll need to see a dentist--perhaps a periodontist.

GUM DISEASE, THE WORST CASE CALLED PERIODONTITIS, IS CYCLICAL IN NATURE. ONCE YOU GET THIS, IT CAN ONLY BE MANAGED AND IT WILL BECOME QUIESCENT OR ACTIVE.
THE IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS SEEK TREATMENT BEFORE IT BECOMES TOO LATE AND TEETH ARE LOST.
THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE AT HOME TO TREAT IT BECAUSE HOME CARE WOULD HAVE KEPT IT FROM EVER OCCURRING.
