I have come across this question alot and wonder what peolpe here think,are they like that when they are with thier army m8s and away from their gfs,apart from when they are in iraq cos they cant cheat there.

yes but asking about blokes,not women.....well i dont agree they all cheat.....some men are dumped and go over there and have to get on with their jobs even though they been dumped. yes same goes for women but no not all cheat,come on,maybe 50% do and 50% dont

lol ok calm down,yeah i know they can cheat over in iraq for example,but not when they are fighting....my bf was in the army but i went out with him after he left the army so met him just after he was about to leave....his no cheat though,,,,his ex cheated on him while he was away...so i do understand,just wanted a few comments cos i hear this question so many times from ppl. thanx anyway.

i don't think they cheat because they are in the army , if they cheat they are going to cheat no matter where they are .. that goes for men and women ... i think as many army wives cheat as men ... its the person not the career

Yeah a lot of military guys cheat. Course so do a lot of military women and military wives hard to be alone that much from what my military friends say. And where did you get the idea that when a guy is deployed any where including Iraq that they can not get laid? That's when most cheating happens when they are deployed. lol They get leave and there are cat houses not to mention the other women in the military that are over there. Do not be so naive hun.

As a former soldier in the army, I would say that it depends on the individual. I would honestly beleive that it is no more predominant than in the general population. Army wives would have more opportunities to cheat than the soldiers themselves. Many soldiers are sent to areas were they are too busy or they do not have the female population available for "cheating.

some do and usually it is what it is, I knew of some military cheating, even in the states but that is a part of life, it is easier to cheat when the loved one is physically so far away
than the regular community who have to be home at a certin time. Military ppl have overnight duty and other things when they can get away. Not good. if you trust your mate, you should not fear if you do not, be prepared or move on

It depends on the person. Some army spouses are hit with filling shoes that they were not properly trained for, still young and dumb... Weather military or not some don't know what it means to be married. And an added hit takes place when you realise that what you thought it would be is not exactly what he/she thought it would be.
Then you have to deal with the fact that the either one of the spouses might be around someone of the opposite sex on the regular that communicates even when the spouses aren't.

I believe ANY guy will cheat if given the right opportunity or if liquor is involved. I saw something on tv the other day where women hired this decoy to see if their hubbies and bfs would cheat and guess what? They were all willing to! My bf was in the Marines and admitted to being w/ a hooker in Thailand! I think that military guys are really macho around each other and need to prove their masculinity. And who says they can't cheat in Iraq? Where'd you hear that one? They probably are NOT supposed to be legally having sex while they are on active duty but I'm sure it happens.

I honestly have no idea but I'd have to guess they do based on what I know of cheaters. Usually the people that are arrogant, full of themselves, or have a high self-image seem most likely to cheat. If a guy thinks he is superman, he seems more likely to cheat than if he thinks he is Joe Average. Joe Average would have less confidence about attracting a new mate, and would probably be less critical of his current one. This is of course, a crude stereo-type.

No more than civilian spouses. The only difference might be the fact that there are longer periods of separation for military marriages than a "typical" civilian marriage. Personally, I wonder how many long distance truck drivers cheat...something to ponder...

The thing about squaddies is that they move around the country/world every 2-3yrs, so they cant keep relationships, unless their married and then its mostly the wives getting lonley and start cheating whilst the man away!

Not just army guys, anyone in the military man or woman think they ther are only "married" or "in a relationship" in the US. I was in the military for awhile, and saw so many people cheat on their other halves. I wouldn't trust them a all.
