She is constantly running from one room to the next naked, with all of the shades up, in the middle of the day. She says that, "It's the neighbors' problems.... they shouldn't be looking into my windows to begin with!"
When I just asked her right now, she goes, "BOOOOOOOOOORRRRN TO BE FREE!" and started laughing. Is she bi-polar? Perhaps catatonic schizophrenic?
Thanks, I'll pick a best answer TODAY!!!!!!!

I think that in addition to actually enjoying being naked, she realizes that it is a bit odd and tries to turn it into something funny. Usually she starts running really quickly and making crazy faces, like a dinosaur. I can't help but to laugh, but I'm concerned that she needs medication. Maybe Haldol?

Posting a picture may help me to determine whether or not her actions are appropriate... hehe
Ok all kidding aside my opinion is this:
It's HER house. She has the right to wear as much or as little clothing as she feels fit. Now if she started walking around in public like that then there would obviously be legal ramifications.

You shouldn't diagnose a mental illness with just one symptom. Does she have other behaviors which are *unusual*? Bills unpaid, destructive and/or self-destructive behaviors, delusions, hallucinations?
Maybe she's just a child of the 60's-70's and is recalling the free-love hippie era.
You don't mention your age or hers. Perhaps you should talk to an adult relative about this. Remember, society will not view running around naked (even in her own house) as *normal* and may get child protective services involved if they feel it's necessary.

I agree with what all the other posts say but if she does have something, it's likely she has bipolar and/or ADHD. I've heard bad things about Haldol though, have you considered Seraquel?? or Klonopin??

She might be more comfortable naked. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. If the neighbors are peeking in. Its like your mom says, its their problem. If you are going over to her house, just call first.

lol, that's funny
I guess as long nobody living in the house has a problem with it, who cares,
no psychological disorder, but it sounds like she is a bit of an exhibitionsit, lol.
does she go to nudist colonies?
does she do this when you have company over?

It sounds like she is rebelling against Christian oppression to me. She was probably told emphatically many times that she had to wear her clothes. Spent her whole life having to cover up any time a set of eyes might spy her. Now she's saying, "Ha ha, look at me! I don't care about judging eyes! You can't lock me up!"

Sounds like she just doesn't care what people think. It's her home and she will do as she pleases. Sounds more like a comfort issue than any kind of psychosis.

maybe she is just having fun running around the house naked and there is no disorder that makes a person do that its just her wanting to do that
