That seems to be a problem. Many who follow the Bible want a simple yes or no. There is so much more. Even in one thousand words only surface of this would barely be scratched. The Bible as tried to manifest a god out of what you may call God. Giving human traits and personality faults that are not needed and only end up limiting the understanding of what is possible. The Holy Spirit is the closest to what one may call God (I do not as the very title is still limiting) . So tell me was that a yes or no?

Which one? The God of the Old Testament did wrathful things and the God of the New Testament was loving. That's why Early Christians believed that there were two Gods. And, religion doesn't want to talk about it

Yes,
but not the conflicting versions( cruel vrs merciful, just vrs unjust, ethical vrs unethical, transcendant vrs petulant, etc) that one gets from the Bible alone(esp. OT and Book of Revelation versions of divine behavior).

I believe in the God who reveals Himself through the full Bible in full Apostolic Tradition in the full Church( which I believe is the Catholic Church) in Natural Law/Reason and prayer and the example of good, brave, kind and wise people( or just truly good people).
