what would you do if you heard a rumor about your bf but were afraid to talk to him about it, how would you bring it up? what if you find out it's true? help please, i need ideas how to bring up the subject

ok the rumor is that he raped a 13 yr old girl, i dont know how old he was at the tme tho if it happened but it doesnt really seem like hed do that, we've only been dating for almost 8 months and this just put a big spin on everything

listen girl .as i guy i want to tell you something .ok i know you love him and all but hey life is too short ,do you realise the amount of time you will be spending doubting and torturing yourself if you don't ask him because you are afraid to lose him .listen i don't know how he treats you but for me in a healthy relationship you should feel comfortable enough to talk about any subject .so talk to him nicely ,you know just him you've got something to tell him.and see from there ?

Why are you afraid? You need to come straight out and ask him. Of course, there is the possibility that he'll lie especially if he's covering his ***. I'm assuming that the rumor involves another girl, am I right? It's been my experience in 34 years that if people are talking about it, that it most likely happened. I'm sorry if that's the case and I hope I'm wrong. You sound young and think there are plenty of guys out there and you have plenty of time to find the right one if this guy did something wrong. If he did, DO NOT give him a second chance, that's always a mistake.
