Thank you all for your replies!
There were a lot of good answers, thank you. It's great to hear that you've learned so much. One thing I'll point out: notice that whatever you learn about people HERE will be a bit of a reflection of what people are like in real life.
Many of you noticed that there are a lot of similarities between all people, despite their religions. There are many good qualities, bad qualities, and things to improve.

I've learned that Hatred is everywhere but Love grows all the more. I needed sound advice and an Athiest gave me a beautiful answer. There is love everywhere depite differences in beliefs. I don't need confirmation, I need discussions. Too many people look for others to agree, thats why so much is one sided and change is not activated.

If I already know the answer, I don't ask the question--unless it's just a goofy one because I'm bored.
When I have asked serious questions out of a genuine desire for knowledge and new viewpoints, I've gotten a lot of answers back that assumed that I was trying to be sarcastic or something. It's pretty annoying.
I think the most important thing I've learned on this site is that narrow-mindedness and disrespect for others occur across religious (and lack of religion-ious) boundaries. There are open-minded and informative answers from every spectrum of belief, and there is also hatred spewed from all corners. In the end, we're all human beings and have good and bad attributes.

The most important thing I have learned on this site is that a LOT of people do not believe in God. It really concerns me that there are so many atheists out there although I understand there reasoning when they give a reason in a lot of cases I still wonder what is going wrong in the world and wonder where their souls will end up when it is all said and done. I obviously choose to be a believer.
What I don't like is when someone asks a question and people send in their comments and their opinions with rude comments attached as to the intelligence of the asker. Or the ones who have sexually explicit comments and names. I think those people need to learn more respect and use some better ways of getting their opinions out there.

I seldom ask a question, but when I do, I genuinely want to understand the different views people can have relating to one topic. My question isn't necessarily related to my need to learn from others, it is more out of simple curiosity relating to my own perceptions and idealistic views of my own experiences and perceptions. I guess the most important idea I've Learned thus far, is to laugh at myself and my own misguided thoughts and expressions.

i have done all of the above. i have learned..... i have taught.... and sometimes yes... i have been a fool.
that is what i have learned.
i cannot act like a fool and act in a manner that is.... going to be negative to others. ... i have decided to make sure that i always try my hardest to say .. positive replies. even if i dont agree with the question or ideal. its hard sometimes. but i know it the only way to get a real idea across here. verbally assaulting each others ideals on here is pointless... its better... if we all try and keep it to a discussion.... instead of a fight

Obviously people already have a preconcieved idea. It is just interesting to find out how many others think like you.
The most important thing I have learned is that a lot more people than I thought are not religous. Great news for our future generations!

A lot of good answers so far. . . (thumbs UP, pencil)
I have learned that absolutely nobody is going to agree 100% with EVERYTHING someone else believes, but i am here seeking common ground, and hope everyone else will consider doing the same.

A lot about the people here. Not a lot of open minds. A willingness to jump to conclusions without sufficient (and sometimes without any) evidence.
Occasionally some perceptive responses.
