Woody Allen said something to the effect that he didn't want to achieve immortality through his works, he wanted to achieve it through not dying. My finite existence has been on my mind as of late. Any tips on how to extend that existence or dare I say anybody out there know how to live forever and a day?

why would you want to live forever?
IMHO, that would make things so incredibly tedious. going on while everybody you know dies on overlapping cycles, not feeling any immediacy to do anything in respect to the unknown time that we do have... and why deny yourself death? how do you know that it's so bad? why deny what's on the "other side"?

on the other hand.....

how do you know that we don't already live forever, and that we're just too myopic to understand beyond physical death?

Woody Allen also said, "I'm not afraid of dying. I just don't want to be there when it happens."
