Well i've had a crush on people i've never met but friends i've met through others and talk to on msn and phone..
When you don't know someone in the flesh they are perfect. You only see there good points and create an image based on what you want them to be....
I'd say it was more curiosity as many people i thought i fancied didn't turn out to be the person I thought they were!!

If you don't know someone, you cant love them, you love someone for who they are, everything about a person is what you love about them, so if you don't know this person, it would be wrong to say that you love them, I know, I have been in love, and I've been infatuated as well, one way to know is that love hurts a lot more then infatuation, but don't let the pain of being infatuated with someone fool you, you can never love, he that you never have known......

It's infatuation. How can you love someone if you don't even know them, their personality, likes, dislikes, life experience, history etc? You love the idea of him as your perfect guy, and i'm sure you imagine all of his personality characteristics to be what you would consider ideal.

I don't think its possible to "love" someone with REALLY knowing them. People online can show you exactly what you wanna see or tell you what you wanna hear. I think people fall in love with the idea of falling in love. You definitely need to spend time with someone...
good luck!

You cannot love someone without knowing them personally.this is absolutely infatuation. You are just infatuated by what they say or do and how they look or act or dress. Get over it.

Infatuation 100%. As you stated you admire him but do not know him; therefore it is impossible to have true feelings of love. Sorry but that is just a fact of life.

Its infatuation, but theres nothing wrong with that. You can't really love a person until you know them.

sorry ,it has all the symptoms of an infatuation.i got to be honest and tell you that when you start to know someone and discovering all their flaws and you still care for that person then you can say that you really love that person .but beware if you still care if he is treating you badly .

sure it's love, just not the traditional kind. i fell in love with this guy that i hardly knew and will probably always be in love with him, he's everything and anything i could ever want in a man. but i'm a realist so i can admit to myself that i'm probably more in love with the idea of him than him personally. if we ever dated my perception of him probably would have changed- so i never pushed it. i'm OK with being in love with an idea of him. he's my man on a pedstal.

infatuation, you need to establish a good relationship and actually speak to the one you love. love is built on a strong foundation...not just because there is attraction
