The new "smart" lipo is it's a laser that MELTS fat before it's removed,and tightens skin. This $4000-plus procedure with 24 hr. recovery time. Traditional Lipo is 3 weeks of recovery time which if done wrongly can have tragic results like what happen with Donda West(Kanye's West's Mom) CLOTS,Edema and if you live it can make you scarred seformed,lopsided. Britney Spears had Smart Lipo done recently in Nevada and had POSITIVE results. Remember smart lipo is $4,000 plus and was already featured on Dr.Rey's Dr.90210 show on E! Complications will more likely to occure if you have a chronic illness such as diabetes etc.

relatively safe but not without risk. There have been news stories of people dieing on the table.You need to be sure the facility performing it is qualified for the procedure. Do your homework.

It's relatively safe in the sense that you've got an excellent chance of surviving but it does have potential life threatening problems. These problems are rare, but they do exist.

Personally, an aunt of mine went for it. She thinks its safe and really nice to loose some weight and then follow a healthy lifestyle. So many of the celebs go under the knife, had it been unsafe they would have avoided it.
