Finally a rational question. I hope so, my friend. How many times are we going to allow ourselves to be fooled by these people?

Merry Christmas! And a star for you to put atop your tree!

Boring.

Inhofe's blog only quotes 3 skeptical scientists, and doesn't say how large the group of skeptics is. My guess is that it's a group of 3, and they don't even have anything interesting to say other than the usual lies and misinformation. For example Evans says

"we have the lack of a temperature going up the last 5 years,"

Even if 5 years were a relevant timeframe (which it's not), this is wrong.

It doesn't take courage to lie about the data and call for inaction on a potentially catastrophic situation. That I would call cowardice.

You might lose your nickname since I researched your link:

By clicking on Prof Evans:
-------------------
“The pre-2000 ice core data was the central evidence for believing that atmospheric carbon caused temperature increases. The new ice core data shows that past warmings were *not* initially caused by rises in atmospheric carbon, and says nothing about the strength of any amplification.
------------------
He simply argues that previous warming phases were natural, what nobody among global warming scientists denies.

This thinking "previous climate change were natural occurences, therefore the one now must be..." is very limited.

This again is extremely weak.

The next time you post links, please read them yourself first.

The world is well known to muddle along allowing species to become extinct, invent nuclear bombs, make wars, and actively lay waste natural resources.
Do not worry. Nothing much will be done about global warming as well.

Doing nothing is easy. Doing something takes courage. The problem now is that we have done nothing until its almost to late. Ocean levels are already rising. Temperatures are rising. Winters are warmer in some places. It only takes a rise of one degree per year to put us in the hole. We are poisoning ourselves at an alarming rate.

I am not going to do anything about an unproven science.

Don't worry, these alarmist nuts will die off soon enough. They is the effect of the "hippie age". Those pot-smoking, acid-dropping, coke-snorting cry babies won't live much longer.

A real question is:

Are we becoming a nation of whiners? Simple answer, "yes".

I've got to agree with Prof. William Alexandra. The world has far worse problems. People are starving because of povery caused by lack of education and health care while the UN is becoming preoccupied with carbon trading.

This is just a smoke screen to deviate our attention away from what the politicians want us to see and believe!

Many people really let us others think for them.

Not me!!

Good Article.
Many scientists are rightly concerned about the credibility of science in general. If this political (almost religious) movement make drastic negative changes in economies and found false in a few years - all science might be discredited.

Hopefully, if we all see the truth through the UN funded smoke and mirrors.
