The Life that we have received upon our regeneration?

Question

I wanted to put this to all my brothers and sisters. This life that we received is a life that is of God. We were first born of the human life, born of flesh. But one day when we believed into the Lord Jesus we received the divine Life of the Father. We were Born of the Spirit in our spirit. Our spirit which was once deadened has become enlivened and filled with the Life of God. The Lord said that He came that we might have life and have it abundantly.
NOW.
I just wanted to touch this with you. The LIfe that we received makes us a part of the Body of Christ. This life is a "Body Life" Its the Life that makes us not just one with the Lord but one with all the dear members of this Body. So tell me. How do you see your brothers and sisters. Do we see just persons that we meet with or do we see members of Christ. How we address the saints, treat them,care for them. Do we do so with Christ in view. Do we care for the members as we would care for Christ?

I agree whole heartedly sister! I do believe when we talk to people and we can feel a sincere love for christ I believe we do see the brother or sister as a part of Christ because if we see and feel that sincerity in each other that in itself is Christ. We are not capable of that on our own.
Sadly though, their are times I believe that we do fail to see brothers and sisters as part of Christ's body. Sometimes I believe its our own fault because we are neglecting our own walk in Christ. God help us to have spiritual eyes so we may be able to see whay is of Him.

Well as for my self, I look to see using,(Disernment) Thank you Father God in Heaven for your Gift to me.

Sometimes I did see what I thought I wanted to see in that person, But deep in my Heart I was Hoping that, The person primarily the Women Truly Bealeaved in God and Jsus Christ,

Now Maybe I did see someone where in them that light of the good Lord appeared to me, and I attrcted to it right off the back, but what I did'nt see was the pain the person cared inside and negociated that for there personal want, in essence put the Good Lord to the side, even me asking the person, do you beleave in God? Do you beleave in Jesus Christ? of course they said yes, maybe because they seen something they liked in me, well as usaul that's not the way the cituation turned out, then the questioning begun I thought you beleave in God? of course they said yes I do:

Then how could you be this way, waking up evil, lying about the truth, putting everthing on the table, or even telling me you Love me, how? if you did you would'nt get caught up in theses things, or of course you really dont beleav in God; If you did the saying goe's;

Treat others like you like to be treated, they want the good treatment, but live the decieful life in so-called being in Love or playing the part of a relationship, This is worse than a two edged sword, it's straight out purpose blindness, and they beleave in this behavior as that's the way they think all people Is,

One the bright side everyone is not like this,
Hopefully I'll meet that someone that now I asked and patienally wait on Father God to give me, Reason's because I refuse to let the devil and who he sends Harden My Heart. So I keep to my-self and My Third Leg in my Pants.

To show the Good Lord I'm willing to wait on God. He's worth it. And I am too.

Sandy - In all humility, we are only vessels that He fills to help others, whether they be in the Body of Christ or not. By being "lights" in a dark world, maybe others will see "The Light" in us and they will be drawn to Him. I have learned a great deal from my brothers and sisters in Christ in this forum. They share scriptures which encourage me every day, and I surely appreciate this. My deepest prayer is that we all come together for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others will come to know Him. God bless you!!!

i think your question is horribly biased. to say our spirits were dead before this Christ of yours came around is just simply wrong. sure the idea of Christ can awaken someones spirit yes, but to say this is the only thing which can awaken a spirit, you have much to learn. why not stop talking about your inclusive "Body of Christ" and start talking about "Universal Consciousness" or "Human Collectie Spirit"

your believers are not the only humans on this planet. why not care for ALL of your brothers and sisters in human kind as you would for your Christ? Why not release this silly fantasy of rapture and redemption and work toward the betterment of ALL mankind?

i have nothing but love for all of you, but sometimes your short sitedness really gets to me. im really tired of these members only clubs

As you know the Bible states there is only "one faith" but there are many christian denominations. These cause division amongst people. Some are more spiritually mature than others and being the last days his sheep are scattered. What you talk about cannot occur until the millennium of God's rest is established.

You always SO touch my absolute heart, as you touch the heart of GOd. You are so right about this. We no longer have a fallen sin nature, once we are born again. Now, we have the nature of Jesus Christ, and the mind of Christ, with His very excellent character. When we are born again, we belong to Him and all of the others who have desired and stepped into the fullness of being in GOds family I so miss all the old calling each other brothers and sisters, as its such a reminder of who we are together as a body in Christ. I am trying to bring it back where we go to church. Keep praying about this for me, will ya?? thanks.
WE are all part of the family of God and we need to remember that, and not see all of our differences, but focus on Jesus and the things we have that are the same, that are from Him. To study togtether, learn together, and pray together, teaching each other and learning from each other, as one huge family of God. God calls us to unity, but of course, it is only true Godly unity, if its done in love and in the truth and faith of Jesus Christ. If we see a brother or sister that has missed the mark, then we go to them in love and try to gently guide them back, and they must do the same for us. Those who are truly of the body of Christ, will never hate rebuke of any kind, as GOd tells us to accept it in humility and in love, as well as giving it that way as well.
WE are to look out for each other, pray for one another, and do all we can to restore each other back to the fullness of God and His word, so that noone is lost. REminding them that there is a way back, if one has stepped away for a short time, but that at one time, we must fully belong to God.
And yes, we do all things in the glory of God and yes He is watching at all times, as we are to be watching, watchmen for the Lord to be sure only love and truth and unity are in Gods house and amongst its members. Amen. WE do all in love, but we never tiptoe with the gospel of Christ. NEVER.

You truly have become a sister to many of us on Yahoo, as you speak the voice of God. Also let me add this as it is so huge to God and to me and truly born again ppl. Many will claim to be GOd's and claim to be born again. But, if you have not allowed God to give you a new heart, a new transformed heart thru Jesus, then you are not truly born again. When you do have that, you will only want to live for God, and will not resent having to give up sin, you will rejoice that JEsus came to set us free from sin, not to give us freedom to walk in sin. If we dont see transformation, changed lives, then one is not truly born again and saved. God says YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS... actions. Study to show yourself approved to the Lord....
