If it's written in German then it would be cute and sweet. A way to turn a formal invite into a polite "come over, let's get together & chat".
If it's in English - I presume most of your class mates are mother tongue English? - then it may be considered a tad stuffy.

I think that would be unnecessarily formal. People usually send invites for formal events or really special events. A few friends coming together to have some coffee and brownies and a nice chat is pretty casual, so I'd say an oral invite would be more appropriate. However, if you really want to make some cute invitations, go ahead, but make sure it doesn't seem too formal.

That seems pretty formal, if they are just friends from class and its just coffee and brownies, I'd verbally invite them.

an invitation not unless you have something really important to discuss!
maybe a thank you card!
and mention that your having coffee as a reminder!
so one day just tell everyone hey i'll have coffee over on xyz date..
then send out Thanks for being friends or thinking of you cards and say hey just thought i would say hi see ya on xzy for coffee!

yes that sounds good but also tell them what will be on the menu to go with the coffee, tell them this invitation only goes to realy good friends lol
