Definately not. If you haven't studied for a while, you could do some science-related courses with the Open University to get back up to speed and give you a refresher. The OU has students in their 80s that successfully gain a degree. If they can do it, so can you!

It's never too late to do anything!
You'll probably need to do another degree through, I hear Leeds is quite a good university for dentistry. Why don't you have a look at the prospectus online and see if its right for you?

Absolutely not. There were people in my class (at Glasgow Dental School) who were in their 30s and one guy was nearly 40. If you qualify at 35 (for example) you still have a 30 year career ahead of you.
It is a great career, you should contact the BDA careers dept. for advice (if in UK).
Good luck x

Age is the least of your hindrances. you ought to be a remarkable pupil in undergraduate college — exceptionally the sciences and pre-Dental classes. you ought to attain very severe interior the DAT to conquer out different enormously-qualified and centred applicants. you already comprehend once you're a reliable pupil. while you're no longer, do no longer waste time and funds fooling your self.

HELLO THABISO,
THIS IS THE HONEST TRUTH. FIRST LET ME SAY THAT WHOMEVER KEEPS GIVING NEGATIVE RATINGS FOR ALL THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK DOESN'T REALLY UNDERSTAND ABOUT HIGHER EDUCATION.
IN MY GRADUATING DENTAL CLASS THE OLDEST STUDENT WAS 43.
SHE WANTED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH HER LIFE. HER KID WERE ON THEIR OWN AND SHE HAD THE WILLINGNESS AND DEDICATION TO START DENTAL SCHOOL.
THE ONLY TIME IT'S TOO LATE IS ON THE DEATH BED.
IF YOU HAVE THE WILLINGNESS AND THE DEDICATION YOU CAN DO THIS. GO FOR IT!!!
ps, if someone gives me a (-) rating, so what... it matters not
