The emissions spewed by all the idling cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles is something to think about. The environment is more important than convenience. I think there should be no such thing as a drive thru!

I think they should first ban private jet flights to Bali. Why doesn't the "inventor of the internet" teleconference instead of jettting everywhere?

Sure right after we ban ALL non essential use of Personal Computers (games, posting absurd questions on Y/A etc) after all look at the electricity and Internet bandwidth you're wasting.

As a taxpayer, a voter and a licensed driver my convienience is far more important than your opinions.

If you're going after fast food you should be more concerned about the herds of cattle being ranched at lowest cost possible (by that I am making an implication towards the quality of the feed they are given), or the carbon dioxide from their mouths, or the millions of chickens crapping on eachother and eating eachothers crap, and then being fed to us. I really feel that to be more of an immediate threat than emissions from idling automobiles. But, GLOBAL WARMING IS A MYTH, AND A MONEY MAKING SCHEME BROUGHT TO THE MAINSTREAM BY OPPORTUNISTS LIKE AL GORE, so if I were you I would find a more realistic cause to fight for, like stopping the impending nuclear holocaust brought on by radical Islamo-Fascists. That will wipe us out much sooner than a 1 degree shift in mean temperature.

Yes, but not because of Global Warming, but because of Obesity.

If we get any colder, we will have more people stuck in traffic because of the snowy conditions than people waiting at a drive thru window.

You should stop worrying about non-issues. Do not join the bandwagon of self-appointed "lifestyle police" who presume to mandate other peoples' behavior. This country is supposed to be free. Yet every day is another restriction on what we can say and do.

Merry Christmas!

Nothing is more important than convenience. As a matter of fact, I'm furious that I extended the effort to answer this question. Must...become...sloth...again.....

Why don't we just ban cars entirely? Where is the line going to be drawn...when we are all robots and have no freedoms?

Yes. Not only would it save beaucoup tons of exhaust belched into the air, it would make the fat bastards get out of their cars and burn a calorie or two walking inside to get their supersized Big Mac combos.
