Get off this computer and get to your doctor or hospital right now! If it is your appendix, you need treatment quickly. Pain like that is not usual and needs to be checked out! If your girlfriend can't drive you, ask her to phone an ambulance. You may need urgent treatment; if you leave it for fear of having to take time off work, there's the possibility you'll be very, very ill and will have to take even more time off!
I'll shut up now so you can get some medical help.
Good luck, hope it all goes ok.

Go see a doctor as soon as possible; that means after you are done. If it really is your appendix, you would want to go right away because if your appendix blows up, you will be in immense pain and have a slight chance of dying, depending on your health conditions. My friend got his appendix removed an hour before his blew up. He had the same symptons as you, but when he was sitting on the toilet, his waste would not come out no matter hard he tried. Another incident was when my dad's friend's daughter appendix's blew up and they had to clean her up for about 5 hours. Trust me man, go see a doctor ASAP.

Pain like that needs to be seen by a doctor. You don't say exactly where the pain is. Symptoms of appendicitis include fever and nausea as well as pain located in the lower right side of the abdomen between the belly button and the hip. Symptoms of gallbladder infection (cholecystitis) are in the upper right side of the abdomen and may go through to the back, and usually brought on by eating (esp. fatty foods). Pancreatitis pain is usually in the upper abdomen. Please go get checked out, or you may end up off work longer than you want.

There are a number of things it might be- including a problem with your appendix. And whatever it is, you need to see a doctor about it.

Hopefully your boss will understand that you are a very sick man! Listen to the lady in your life.

Good luck!

It's best to see your doctor about this. It could be just bad gas, but you can never be to safe. It may be an obstruction in your ovaries, you may be pregnant if you're sexually active. Birth control is only 99% effective and there is 1% chance that you may conceive. Also most women experience spotting and it is very common for pregnant woman to experience spotting, and confuse it for periods. So see your obygyn asap.

You need to see the doctor. GI pain can 'refer' to other areas other than from where the problem actually originates. Could be a symptom of pancreatitis, which is often relieved when you curl your body up. Off to a clinic for you .....

well, you may not think you can afford time off work, but how much work can you effectively do if you are doubled over in pain? or dead for that matter. You need to see a doctor.
